Our approach
We wanted to do things differently with ANOMALY — a new center piece in the OUTLINE portfolio that battles the current state of the commercial industry, because we believe it’s too slow and creatively limited.
We set out on a mission to Hakuba Japan, with a lean crew of just 5 and our local professional skier Masa. We kept it creative and effective, because we believe that’s how the best work happens.
It resulted into over 300.000 views on YouTube and a clear new creative direction for the agency — the exact type of work and impact you can expect from OUTLINE going forwards.
First Anomaly cut
After spending weeks completing the initial cut of Anomaly, we felt it didn’t fully represent our vision yet. We ended up going back to the drawing board, but if you’re interested in watching the first version, you can do so down here.
